Hello Instagram, YouTube and Facebook community, We are Ginger and Tristan from ROAR Fertility and we are excited to discuss the four loss of fertility nutrition with you today. So, you guys have probably heard the phrase you are what you eat. Well, that’s not a hundred percent accurate. You are actually what you ingest and absorb. Everything that you consume whether it’s food drinks or even drugs that you consume or things you absorb through your skin anything that you absorb. Nutrition literally provides the building blocks of your cells and your health. Every single cell in your body has a purpose. It’s part of a bigger system, like an organ, an egg, or your uterine lining, just like your muscles need nutrients to build strength your reproductive organs should be built from strong cells, full of Nutrients, Vitamins, Minerals, which should flow through your blood via circulation. Your circulatory system is a transportation system for all of your nutrients to get to their destination cells.
A quality egg comes from quality building blocks, a quality thick uterine lining that we all desire comes from quality building blocks, sperm to is built from quality nutrients. Additionally, you need good digestion and good circulation to deliver the quality nutrients. Nutrients to every single cell in your body. So, most of us are born with a healthy reproductive function which we like to compare to a new and well-functioning tree. So over time, some of those branches may start wilting. If you have a condition that affects your cardiovascular system such as, Pre-Diabetes or Diabetes, Insulin Resistance, PCOS, Cold Extremities, a tendency to always feel cold or fatigue. Improving nutrition may make a significant impact on your fertility. A nutrition change will take some time to produce change, as the whole trunk and the whole tree need to be nourished. In order to nourish the reproductive branch.
Especially, if you’ve been eating a very high carb diet for decades so, just be patient with a healing and regenerative process. So, number one is to keep your total number of calories for Carbohydrates, Starches and other sweet foods under about 30 to 40% of your total caloric intake. No matter how you slice it all carbohydrates turn into sugar once they’re in the blood, though, Carbohydrate sources are important. It’s more important to keep your macros in check that is, the ratio between your carbohydrates, your proteins and your fats. Sugars and especially refined starches get absorbed into the bloodstream too quickly, which especially in large doses is toxic and temporarily increases your heart rate. Taxes your liver produces heat and inflammation, makes your pancreas pump out insulin to get rid of the blood sugar from your bloodstream and it triggers your body to store fat.
The extra body fat in your body is actually a result of too much sugar and starchy foods, that the body has to convert from sugar into fat for storage as, it just can’t utilize that much at once. Yes, a little bit of glucose in the blood is essential to life at health but it’s better to get those in small amounts from complex carbs such as, Green Vegetables, Sweet Potato and even Starchy Vegetables such as, beans if you can tolerate them. Number Two, Avoid processed foods and replace them with unprocessed foods aka: Real Food. Processed Foods are not food that nature intended I’d like to call them food-like Substances. They may provide you with sugar and suppress hunger and empty and they may provide you with energy to keep you going but they can overload your liver with toxicity and the body with toxicity making your liver work even more overtime and this creates heat in the body and burns up more nutrients. Every time you make any of your organs work they will burn up some nutrients in the chemical process. This may result in hyperactivity due to heat. Imagine putting a fish into a hot tub. It will produce some heat symptoms such as, a far faster heart rate, Insomnia Overthinking, Palpitations, Irritability, Dryness symptoms all over and Anxiety. Number Three is to avoid bad fats and replace them with good fats. Because, well good fats are good. Our society has been obsessed with everything low-fat but, don’t fall into the trap that has caused skyrocketing numbers of cardiovascular problems in our country. Fats are essential to your health and especially to fertility.
Every single cell has a bilipid fat layer to regulate what goes in and out of your cells, a body fat level that’s too low. May shut down your reproductive system as it’s trying to conserve essential fats for your vital organs. Too much sugar and simple carbohydrates needs to increase body fat and a high BMI indicates that a lot of sugar has been wreaking havoc on your circulatory system. Also, avoid bad fats such as, Trans fats, Vegetable oils, Margarine, Processed fats and replace them with Omega threes and other high-quality unprocessed nature make fat like Fish, Avocado, Coconut Oil and Grass-fed butter and Lastly, Number Four, the key secret to success is not excessive expertise or in information but, it’s the ability to use it. “Knowledge is worthless unless it unless it is applied” This is a quote from Max Lou Kaminsky so, here’s the thing if you aren’t already doing the right things and eating the right diet and the right macros what you have learned in the past hasn’t mattered.
Our recommendation is to stop and examine your belief system, what is my belief system about my health, what’s my belief system about my nutrition. Do I really think of myself as a health warrior or a victim of bad genes from my family. How can I improve and what do I believe I deserve am I too tired to take care of my health. Do you think you have control over your food consumption or is food an addiction for you. So, if you’re not getting what you want it’s possible that there may be some kind of subconscious blocks that you’re holding. We recommend hiring an expert coach who can help you discover your growth blocks so that you can overcome all those challenges and move on as a stronger and healthier you that can lay a great health foundation for you and your family.
